• Graduated from the National school of Architecture of Bretagne (Rennes) in 1997.

• DEFA  Fundamental  Degree of Architecture (School of architecture of Grenoble )1992

• Training  'Build with Earth' - CRATERRE  Research Laboratory - School of Architecture- Grenoble  in France

• Founder  of the Studio of architecture 'Sandrine Alain'  at La Roche sur Yon , and then to Les Sables d'Olonne  in France  1998 to 2010'

• Travel- Family Road Trip' during two years, 2010-2012, we were nomade discovering the architecture without architects or' Vernacular architecture' essentially through  the African Continent, and Asia. Meeting with the African cultures and the 'building cultures' (les cultures constructive)

• Sedentarisation in South Africa, in 2012, we fell in love with the city of Cape Town, the creativity and the beauty of the Nature 

• Architect volunteer for an NGO, for "Cape Town World Design Capitale 2014", Design of cooking school project  around a food-garden for the residents of Nyanga town-ship , design with recycle containers .

• Architect consultant, Collaboration  for residential projects  in Cape Town with a local architect Mano Kalos

• Tour Guide in Cape Town and surroundings focusing on architecture, culture and nature . Travel and meet with local Designers and architects.

Approach :  

Inspired by the context, at the scale of the territory, the site, the uses and users, the elements, light, materials, movement, the course of the sun, strongly guided by an holistic approach.

Listening to the client, the project matures step by step, and enriched over time. Like a journey, it is a permanent exchange between the context, the client and the design process.
